Adobe Table 3.04 Update for Macintosh 1997-04-24

The Adobe Table 3.04 update fixes the following problems discovered in the version of Adobe Table 3.0 that originally shipped with PageMaker 6.5 for the Macintosh:- In Table 3.04, bold and italic text prints as expected to PostScript devices. Text formatted as bold or italic prints normal (i.e., roman) from Adobe Table 3.0. (See Additional Note D in the Readme file included in the archive.)- Text formatted with decimal alignment does not disappear after you save, close, and reopen a file in Table 3.04 or update an OLE-embedded table with Table 3.04. Decimal-aligned text may disappear after you save, close, and reopen a file in Table 3.0, or update an OLE-embedded table with Table 3.0.- When you open a Table 2.5 table with right- or center-aligned text in Table 3.04, the text appears as expected. When these tables are opened in Table 3.0, the text may disappear.- Tints of RGB colors applied to tables in Table 3.04 print as expected from PageMaker. Tints of RGB colors in Table 3.0 tables print lighter than expected from PageMaker.- A system error does not occur if Table 3.04 is open when you close a container application (e.g., PageMaker) into which you've OLE-embedded a Table 3.0 object. Closing a container application when Table 3.0 is open may cause a system error.

Adobe Table 3.04 Update for Windows 1997-04-24

The Adobe Table 3.04 update fixes problems discovered in Adobe Table 3.0, which include:- TrueType fonts print correctly from Table 3.04 in Windows NT 4.0. TrueType fonts in Table 3.0 tables print as boxes or garbage characters to PostScript devices from Windows NT 4.0.- Text formatted as bold or italic prints as expected from Table 3.04. Bold and italic text in Table 3.0 prints normal (i.e., roman) to PostScript devices.- Extended characters in OLE-embedded Table 3.04 objects or EPS graphics print correctly. Extended characters print incorrectly or don't print at all to PostScript devices from Table 3.0.- Some extended characters in a Table 2.5 for Windows table may not appear when you open the table in Table 3.0. When you open the table in Table 3.04 for Windows and select the correct language in the Select Language to Convert From dialog box, the extended characters are displayed as expected.- When you open a Table 2.5 table with right- or center-aligned text in Table 3.04, the text appears as expected. When these tables are opened in Table 3.0, the text may disappear.- When you use the Insert Object command to create an OLE-embedded Table 3.04 object in Adobe PageMaker 6.5 for Windows, TrueType symbol fonts print as expected to PostScript devices. TrueType symbol fonts in an OLE-embedded Table 3.0 object display correctly but print as Courier to PostScript devices, including Adobe Acrobat Distiller. Existing OLE-embedded tables must be opened and resaved after you install the Table 3.04 update to resolve this problem completely. The update also fixes other problems, which are fully described in the Readme included in the archive.
