The Save for Service Provider plug-in enables you to collect all the files your service provider will need to output your publication. It also helps you check your publication for problems, so that you may correct them before delivering your files to the service provider. This update, version 1.1, resolves the following problems in the Save for Service Provider 1.0 plug-in that was included with Adobe PageMaker 6.5 for the Macintosh:- The Save for Service Provider 1.1 plug-in includes the Tracking Values file in the package it creates. The Save for Service Provider 1.0 plug-in does not include the Tracking Values file.- The Save for Service Provider 1.1 plug-in retains the color applied to EPS files when creating a package. The Save for Service Provider 1.0 plug-in does not retain the color applied to EPS files when a package is created.

This update corrects a problem in which Adobe FrameMaker 5.x does not display ZapfDingbats characters correctly when used with Adobe Type Manager Deluxe 4.0 and Windows NT 4.0. Text to which you've applied the ZapfDingbats font prints correctly from FrameMaker 5.x, although it does not appear correctly on-screen. When the update is installed, FrameMaker 5.x displays and prints text to which you've applied the ZapfDingbats font as expected.

NOTE: If you do not need ZapfDingbats to appear correctly on-screen in FrameMaker, do not install this update; it may cause problems with the ZapfDingbats font in other applications.

Extended characters print incorrectly or don't print at all to PostScript devices from Table 3.0.- Some extended characters in a Table 2.5 for Windows table may not appear when you open the table in Table 3.0.
